OUR ASSOCIATES
Ms. Gorski received her Muscular Therapy Training at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She went on to complete her Aromatherapy Training through the Eclectic Aromatherapy Institute at their seminars in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Nancy enhances relaxation massages using hot stones and sea salts. With the hot stones, Nancy is able to achieve a deeper level of muscle relief than clients achieve with massage alone. As a holistic practitioner, Nancy provides an Ayurvedic massage which helps bring the body into a natural state of balance (see more under Muscular Therapies). Nancy is a Reiki Master, trained in the Usui tradition, and has trained in Cranial Sacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. With several years' experience at a chiropractic office in Manchester, Nancy has learned to use various techniques to effectively release muscle tension. Jennifer Fay, LMT, NCMT
Jennifer Fay has a long-term interest in body movement so she's well-versed in the injuries of athletes, dancers and other active people. She knows the relationship between movement and the muscles that make it happen--so she can target treatments to your complaints. Jennifer studied at the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts in Hudson, NH graduating in 2006. She has aggressively pursued continuing education obtaining her Sports Bodywork certification from the CORE Institute early in 2007. Jennifer also values the Asian therapists of Shiatsu (extensive private instruction) and Sotai (certified, level 1). As a Veteran, and with her own love of dance, running, aerial acrobatics, full-contact martial arts, & fitness, she brings first-hand and personal experience with the challenges of these interests and experiences. At TDFY, Jennifer treats a variety of clients including those recovering from auto accidents, work-related injuries and sports injuries. Sue Day, Reiki Master
Sue completed the three levels of training need to achieve the status of Reiki Master in 2002. During her early years as a practitioner, she had the opportunity to teach in her homeland of Thailand. In 2005, Sue joined the teaching staff at North Eastern Institute of Whole Health in Manchester, NH. Sue continued her Reiki studies and is now a Karuna Ki Master through the Reiki Blessing Academy.
Sue also offers clients “Ear Coning” (known to remove allergens and wax from the ear canal) and as well as production of ear-cone products for local and internet sales. Her training in aromatherapy was completed in 2005. Sue provides private training for students at her home office in Weare N.H., and in surrounding NH areas. Sue’s professional associations include NAMASTA through which she carries her professional liability insurance and which lists her as a service provider for Yoga, Tai Chi, Reiki and the mind/body approach.
Sue contributes to the community using her variety of skills and training. From 2004 through 2006, Sue offered free Reiki treatments as a community service at CMC Hospital in Manchester and, on occasion, at Elliott Hospital. Her services provided relief for patient’s muscle and joint pain, sinus problems, allergies, itchy ear and generally provided meditation for mind and body.
Continuing to expand her healthcare knowledge, Sue became a Licensed Nurse Assistant in 2006 and worked for a private home healthcare company specializing in in-home care for the elderly.
Therapy Designed for You welcomes Sue as an independent contractor. We are glad to include Reiki and Sue’s other treatment options to the cadre of services available at TDFY.
Jill Russell, LMT, NCMT
The human body has an innate capacity to heal. Therapist Jill M. Russell provides clients with tools and treatment which support and speed the natural healing process. She listens to clients to understand their wellness goals and works with them to establish individual treatment plans.
Through Therapy Designed for You, Jill provides corporate clients with on-site massage treatments. These brief treatments (15 to 30 minutes) reduce the effects of job stresses (physical and mental) on the body. Employees report a better ability to focus on their jobs after treatment.
Using deep structural work, trigger point therapy and teaching practical self-care techniques, clients often experience an improved quality of life with less pain, more flexibility, more energy and a better outlook. Jill is a true partner--helping clients meet their personal wellness goals.
Jill earned her NH Massage License under the guidance of the Robert F. Adams at New Hampshire Community Technical College in Nashua. Since graduating, Jill has gained experience in clinical settings and provided treatment at multiple athletic events, including the Boston Marathon.
